What's in a Name?

The name of our youth ministry is "The Rode" How did we come up with that name, you ask? your're probably thinking we don't know how to spell, but trust us, we spelled it right. A rode is the rope or chain tied to an anchor when it is thrown from a ship-it..... is a connection. Like a rode, "The Rode" student ministry exists to be a connection. Our mission is to connect the youth of The Anchor to God's church......... and God's church to the community.

The Rode Student Ministry is designed for students in 6th-12th grade. We are very energetic and like to have fun while learning about Jesus. Whether it be doing a skit or just the high powered worship we always have a blast. To see the fun we had last week check us out on facebook under the Rode.
