You can subscribe to our newsletter and receive it via email. This keeps you up to date on exactly what is happening on the weekend and with children, students, volunteers and groups.
Blogs
The Anchor staff all have "blogs." Blog is simply a short way of saying Web Log--basically it's an online journal where you can join in the conversation. This is where you can share in the Anchor staff's thoughts, story and journey.
Social Media
Maybe you're new to the whole social media thing. The sites allow you to keep up with groups and friends and share what you're doing. If you're new to the idea you can watch this to learn more; then be our friend on Facebook.
A new online outlet that's getting lots of attention is Twitter. Our staff are all using Twitter, and some of your friends probably are, too. It can be strange to new users, so watch this if you need to learn more about using Twitter. You can follow the staff below.
RSS
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. This is a versitile method of following someone's news or "feed." There are many ways to use RSS. One great tool is Google Reader. You can learn more about RSS by watching this.
Video
There are many online services for video. The Anchor uses Vimeo.com for its superior quality and service. You can watch videos you may have seen on the weekend and web exclusives via our Vimeo channel.
Podcast
A podcast is like an online radio show. The Anchor posts each weekend's message online. You can listen right from the website or subscribe and get the mp3 on your iPod or other mp3 player.
