Beliefs

God: God is the creator and ruler of the universe. He eternally exists in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These are co-equal and are one God, this is called the Trinity. He is limitless in power, knowledge, wisdom, love and holiness. Genesis 1:1,26,27; 3:22, Psalms 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 1:2, 2 Corinthians 13:14

Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father in being apart of the trinity. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven where He currently sits at the right hand of the Father. He will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.Matthew 1:22-23, Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1-5, 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14,15; 1 Corinthians 15:3,4; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-1I, 1 Timothy 6:14,15; Titus 2:13 More About Jesus

Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is also apart of the trinity and is also co-equal with God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus. The Holy Spirit lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation and provides Christians with the power for living, understanding of spiritual truth and guidance in doing what is right. He also equips Christians with spiritual gifts. Christians seek to live under His control daily. 2 Corinthians 3:17, John 16:7-13, 14:16,17; Acts 1:8, I Corinthians 2:12, 3:16, Ephesians 1:13, Galatians 5:25, Ephesians 5:18

The Bible: The Bible is God's Word to all people. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error. 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20,21; 2 Timothy 1:13, Psalms 119:105,160; Proverbs 30:5

People: Man is created in the image of God to have a relationship with Him. He is the supreme object of God's creation. Although man has a tremendous potential for good, He has been separated from God because of sin. Man is incapable of restoring this relationship on his own and must go through Jesus Christ who paid for his sin. Genesis 1:27, Psalms 8:3-6, Isaiah 53:6a, Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:1,2

Salvation: Salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for sin by self-improvement or doing good. Only by trusting in Jesus as God's offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into their life by faith. One cannot "earn" salvation, therefore, one cannot "lose" salvation. Heaven and hell are real places of existence and are where people will spend eternity. One can only go to heaven through the free gift of salvation. Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:16, 14:6, 1:12, Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:26, Romans 5:1, John 10:29, 2 Timothy 1:12, Hebrews 7:25, 10:10,14; John 3:16, 2:25, Romans 6:23, Revelation 20:15

Church: The church is the "Body" of Christ and is made up of every Christian on earth. It is seen and expressed through local congregations of Christians. It is a place where the Holy Spirit empowers Christians to use their gifts in reaching non-Christians with God's salvation message and in helping each other grow spiritually. The church is led by the Holy Spirit through the pastors and elders He has established. Acts 21, Corinthians 12, Ephesians 2:19, 4:11-13, 1 Timothy 3:1-11, Titus 1:5-9

Spiritual Warfare: Satan, who was formerly an angel, was cast out of heaven because of his pride and became the enemy of God. He is a deceitful, lying tempter whose mission is to discredit God, to drag unbelieving people into Hell and to destroy the abundant life of Christians. God created angels to worship and serve Him, but one-third of them rebelled with Satan and became demons. Angels and demons are presently locked in a spiritual battle over the lives of people. Christians are involved in this battle through prayer, fasting, studying, and obedience. Satan and his demons will one day be cast by God into the Lake of Fire forever. Genesis 3, Job 1-2, Ezekiel 28:12-19, Isaiah 14:12-14, Colossians 1:16, Ephesians 6:10-18, Revelation 12:4, 20:1-10
